Talents

Ambidextrous: She can use either hand equally well for any task, and does not suffer the –20 penalty for actions using her off hand.
Special: When combined with a Two-Weapon Wielder Talent, the penalty for making attacks with both weapons in the same Turn drops to –10
Autosanguine: When applying healing, she is always considered Lightly Wounded, and heals at an increased rate, removing 2 points of Damage per day
Chem-Geld:Seduction attempts against her automatically fail, and Charm Tests increase their Difficulty by one level.
Enemy: The explorer is particularly despised by a specific social group or organization. She suffers an additional –10 penalty to Fellowship Tests when dealing with this group. This Talent is cumulative with the Rival Talent, for a total –20 penalty
Jaded: Outrageous events, from death’s horrific visage to xenos abominations, will not cause Insanity Points or Fear Tests. Terrors of the Warp still affect the character normally
Light Sleeper: She is always assumed to be awake, even when asleep, for the purposes of Awareness Tests or surprise
Navigator: The Explorer was born with the Navigator gene. The Warp Eye stares balefully from her forehead, allowing her to perceive the ebbs and flows of the empyrean
Paranoia: The character gains a +2 bonus on Initiative rolls, and the GM may secretly Test her Perception to notice hidden threats
Pistol Weapon Training (Universal): The Universal group confers proficiency with most pistol weapons, including the Bolt, Las, Launcher, Melta, Plasma, and SP groups. When the character attempts to use a weapon she does not have the correct Weapon Training Talent for, she suffers a –20% penalty to any relevant Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill Test
Resistance (Fear): She gains a +10 bonus when making tests to resist the effects of this group
Talented (Navigation [Warp]): Gains +10 bonus to tests made using that Skill

Traits and Bonuses

Charmed: Whenever a void born character spends a Fate Point (though not if he burns one), roll a 1d10. On the roll of a natural 9, the Fate Point is not lost
Ill-Omened: Void-born characters suffer a –5 penalty on all Fellowship Tests made to interact with non-void born humans
Shipwise: Navigation (Stellar) (Int) and Pilot (Spacecraft) (Ag) are untrained Basic Skills (instead of Advanced Skills) for void born characters
Void Accustomed: Immune to space travel sickness. In addition, zero- or low-gravity environments are not considered Difficult Terrain for void born characters
A Taste for the Warp: The Navigator can spend a Fate Point to automatically succeed in using a Navigator power; if degrees of success are relevant to the effects of the power, she will succeed by 1d5 degrees of success with 5 counting as 0 degrees of success
Scorn of Dirt Dwellers: Whenever the Navigator is on a planetary body and must deal with locals she suffers a –10 to all Fellowship tests and skills based on Fellowship
The Eye is Open: Does not suffer Corruption Points from Warp Shock, although she can acquire Corruption Points normally by other means
Natural Weapons: Attacks deal 1d10 damage plus STR. Using Weapon Skill, cannot parry with natural weapons, nor can it be disarmed. Natural weapons always count as Primitive.

Bio:

There are many like me. I have been assured that if I should fail, I am replaceable. House Procella fell long ago, but the House has not forgotten the glory that once was. It now passes to me to rebuild it. If not me, then the next. And the next. Until we are as we once were. Those around me on this ship may value their life above mine, but I do not question my existence, as they do. I do not question my purpose, as they do. If anything, I have more purpose and intention than most of the pitiful denizens of this universe will ever have. I have spent the past two decades in intensive training. I’ve seen sisters slain, fall to the void, or simply waste away. It is a noble sacrifice, and one we are all willing to pay.

In the decline of Procella’s power we are no-one. We are all Vesper Nemo.
