My family, the house of Na-Rami was one of three great families that was instructed by the God-emperor to calm the savage limits of the Imperium in M35. Our host made it to Talasa Prime and with the three families supreme wealth we colonized and begun preparing the world for use as a great Manuificaturum – the wealth generated would have been dazzling. However, life changed my families fate.
Our charter was not alone it appeared. The Emperor has issued orders that several other planets should be considered for a location of the great forge worlds. And the the clan of Maxis set out to Konor to try and vie for the best location.
While I argue that Talasa Prime would have been a fine candidate, there rough and violent climate suited the physical and mental training of the Adaptus Astardus more. And soon the Deathwatch Chapter vied for Talasa Prime to be their Chapter World. The Emperor’s Wisdom declared it to be so, and my family lost their claim to vast riches – and Konor became the sector Forge World.
Division began to fester in my families mind. Some felt that we had been betrayed, other felt we were honored by this chance for service. some felt riches were to be found elsewhere.
My family split essentially into thirds, with one section heading to the doomed world of Valos to try and re-stake they claim on a Forge World. The Emperor must have sensed their treacherous hearts and it was fitting Valos was the first world to fall to the Tyranids. May they burn forever for their lack of devotion.
The second group devoted themselves to the Adaptus Mechanius and became the resident family to maintain the blessed facility on Talasa Prime and also submitted recruits for the chapters ranks
The third group was sent back to Holy Terra to receive additional commissions in service to the Emperor. I was amoungst this group. When my families weakness was discovered I and the other who returned to Holy Terra were investigated by the Inquisition and many were deemed pure. those who were still on Talasa Prime were questioned by the Ordo Xenos – they all passed their purity tests.
My family blessed upon me this very vessel we stand in. My family has tasked me with honoring the Emperor by serving in a position many of my rank would consider benieth me, but we are all benieth the will of teh Emperor. I am tasked to lead this vessel on teh far end of the galaxy away from my brethren for teh simple reason that we are in need in the Segmentum Obscurius. Together we will find wealth and service. And once honored our time on this vessel will be complete.
